Lotus Temple

One of the most popular temples of India is Lotus Temple. It is located at Delhi and it is famous is Bahá'í House of Worship and it has a flowerlike shape. One of the prominent attractions for tourists in Delhi is this temple. This temple was established in year 1986 and it has been serving Mother Temple of Indian subcontinent. This temple has won many architectural awards. It has been featured in thousands of magazine and newspaper articles.

Worship

The lotus temple or popularly known as Bahá'í House of Worship is opened for people of all religions irrespective of any religions. If you go through the Bahá'í texts, no distinction to be made upon castes, creed and religions has been emphasized. The law of Bahá'í emphasizes on this fact that people of different casts and communities can get together at House of Worship and they can worship God without any denominational restrictions. Laws also stipulate this fact that Bahá'í faith holy scriptures and various other religions scripture can be chanted or read in any of the language. You are allowed to do the readings and do prayers which will be set to music through choirs. You will not be allowed to play any musical instruments. You will also not be allowed to deliver sermons and no ceremonies of ritualistic nature will be practiced.
